A Nepali youth who was injured in a fire at a restaurant in Sydney died while undergoing treatment


Melbourne, Australia – A Nepali youth has died in Sydney. A Nepali youth who was injured in a fire at a Sunset restaurant in Sydney on June 21 died last Thursday while undergoing treatment.

He was working in the same restaurant. He was critically injured in the blaze and was being treated at Concord Hospital. The fire broke out at the Sunset Restaurant on River Road West in Paramatta around 10 pm on Tuesday. Emergency services called in and rescued 160 people from the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Prajwal Shrestha, 24. The restaurant has expressed grief over his death and has also raised funds to support his family.
