ANMC acquires land towards construction of Nepali Community Centre in Victoria

The process to build a Nepali Community Centre in Victoria has entered a new phase after Australian Nepalese Multicultural Centre completed the process to acquire land for the centre.

According to a notice issued by ANMC, 15 acres of land situated in 100 Duncans Lane, Diggers Rest, Victoria has been purchased for the construction of the multicultural centre.

The land already has a four-bedroom house with an in-ground swimming pool.

With the land purchase, conducting various cultural activities in the property has become convenient. Moreover, the multicultural center can be modeled as per desired plan in the near future.

Similarly the center, once completed, can be a prime location to organize multicultural activities and projects in the future.

ANMC also stated that the approval of affiliated organizations and councils is needed to complete this project. Plans are also afoot to build a temple and a Buddhist Stupa at the multicultural centre.
