Melbourne, Australia – Corona virus infection has started to increase again in Australia. Currently, around 25,000 new infections are being seen in Australia every day. People have been requested to wear masks after the increase in infections. Similarly, 3 million N-95 masks will be distributed free of charge in the state of Victoria. Most Australians have had their third (and some fourth) vaccination against the virus, but infections are on the rise.
The central government had already asked the general public to wear masks because of the increase in infections. Masks are currently not mandatory in Australia. The chief health officer of every state has been asking the general public to wear masks as needed and to get the fourth vaccination if eligible. Despite everyone’s request, very few people wear masks in public places.
