The second annual general meeting of the Federation of Naples Community of Australia (FENCA) has been held. The second general assembly of FENCA was held through virtual media with the participation of 70 people including members of the organization, community leaders, guests and media persons.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Raju Adhikari. He is also the outgoing chairman of FENCA. Similarly, Nepal’s Ambassador to Australia Mahesh Raj Dahal was the chief guest at the meeting. Similarly, Consul General in Victoria Chandra Yonzon and Consul General in South Australia Deepak Dhamala were the guests of the General Assembly.
At the general meeting, the chairman of the organization, Dr. Adhikari, spoke about the importance of throwing. Similarly, Ambassador Mahesh Dahal shared his experience of working with FENCA and spoke about the positive impact this organization has had on bilateral relations between Nepal and Australia. He also mentioned that he was happy with FENCA’s progress.
Similarly, the guest of the meeting and the Consul General of Victoria, Chandra Yonzon, commented on the concept of FENCA’s journey and its evolution over time.
The event was also addressed by FENCA Task Force Coordinators, Community Leaders and State Coordinators.
Indra Wan, vice-president of FENCA, expressed happiness over the success of the organization in reaching this height. FENCA also spoke about the impact and importance of the organization in the state coordinating community in New South Wales. FENCA Coordinator Umesh Pant, on the other hand, discussed the future direction of FENCA with the experience of assuming the post.
Rishi Acharya, president of the Nepali Journalists Association in Australia, gave an idea on the role of the media in promoting the work done by FENCA.
Dr. Krishna Hamal has been elected as the chairman of FENCA. Similarly, when Bom Yonzon was elected Vice President, the posts of Spokesperson and Assistant Spokesperson were vacant for the time being.
The election was held with the help of Chief Limbu, Kamalaya Shrestha, Rajendra Rajbhandari and Ashish Sapkota. Election Chief Limbu also administered oath to the newly elected office bearers.
