Fierce fire in Sydney: 3 dead, 5 injured, including a child


Sydney, Australia – A massive fire has broken out in a house in Sydney. Three people died in a fire in Sydney’s south-west on Sunday morning.

A 10-year-old child is also among the dead. Similarly, 5 people including 2 firefighters have been admitted to the hospital. At around 5:40 Am, 10 fire trucks responded to the emergency rescue and containment at the townhouse in Rottnest Avenue, Hinchinbrook. It is said that two women aged 40 and 60 died on the spot without being formally identified. The 10-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital in Westmead in a critical condition but later died.

Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Luke Unsworth said two crew members were also injured at the scene. It has been informed that the cause of the fire has not been revealed and the incident is being investigated.
