How to apply for an NRS 240,000 grant from the Australian Embassy in Nepal

Kathmandu, Nepal:

The Australian Embassy in Kathmandu is calling out for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from the Australian alumni community in Nepal ‘to implement projects to showcase and celebrate Australia-Nepal connections, and promote Australia in Nepal’.

“The Australian Embassy considers privately-funded global Australian alumni members, Australia Awards alumni and other Australian Government-funded alumni an important aspect of Australia’s diplomatic network in Nepal and wishes to connect with them, work with them and celebrate their achievements to further strengthen Australia-Nepal relations”, their website reads.

The grant is an opportunity for project funding, and eligible individual alumnus/alumna, group of alumni or an institution could receive up to AUD 3,000 (approx NRS 240,000) to implement projects illustrated in their EOI.

Interested applicants are requested to submit an EoI (document can be found in the link) by 21 October 2020 via an email to [email protected]
