For Nepalis at home and away, Captain Vijay Lama is a household name – some days he is flying Nepal’s national carrier to different regions of the world, other days, he is seen acting in a cinema, and in between he manages time to sing, read, offer motivational speeches, make vlogs, play his guitar, and if that’s not overwhelming enough – he even carved some time to talk to MNTV Australia.
In the interview, conducted by Sabi Khadka Karki of MNTV Team, Captain Vijay Lama speaks of the flights he has made to Australia – he shares the immense sense of pride he felt to land the ‘chandra and surya (moon and sun) at Brisbane, Syndey. He shares his excitement about his upcoming flight between Kathmandu and Canberra – a historic flight between the capitals of Nepal and Australia. (The aircraft has landed on 8th June, and made its way back home).
Reflecting on the flights, Captain Vijay Lama also speaks on the importance of giving continuation towards the flight between Nepal and Australia.
Captain Lama also speaks on various other issues, including his film career, his upcoming vlog “A day in an airline pilot’s life”. He also urges viewers to be inspired by passion towards the things they wish to do. And guess what? Lama is an accomplished composer too.
