KLM Kings to battle Tasmanian Punjabi Sports Club in ICSL’s Hurricanes Champions League Final, Nepali band Artha to perform live concert

An enthralling cricket tournament final awaits residents of Tasmania on Sunday as KLM Kings battle Tasmanian Punjabi Sports Club at the Blundstone Arena.

Scheduled to begin at 03:00 pm on Sunday, 7th February, 2021, both teams have said they look forward to the finals, and will ensure their best performance.

The grand final also features a power packed performance by popular Nepali community band Artha. Tournament organisers Intercultural Sports League Inc (ICSL) have beckoned all for a fun-filled evening. Entry to the event is free.

Intercultural Sports League, a sports platform designed to unify sports and multiculturalism is the brainchild of Raj Chopra. A dynamic personality who is passionate about integrating communities and bringing people closer by getting them out of their comfort zone, he conceptualised and worked on ICSL, a group that encourages cross cultural participation through Sport.  

The Hurricanes Champions League, now in its fifth season, is a result of a partnership between Hobart Hurricanes and ICSL. Season 5 was launched with 14 cricket teams and featured many premier league players from including Hobart Hurricanes player Clive Rose who played a few games with Annapurna Stars.
