Knife attack on Nepali in Sydney


Sydney, Australia – A Nepali parent walking on foot has been stabbed in Sydney. Dev Gurung, coordinator of NRNA New South Wales, said that a 60-year-old Nepali father was stabbed in Sydney’s Oren Park around 5 pm on Saturday. Gurung told that he had received information that a 22-year-old girl had stabbed him while walking in the park. It is understood that the parents, who came to Australia to visit their daughter, have a military background and protested with the girl even after throwing the knife. The parents of the injured are undergoing treatment at Liverpool Hospital. The situation is improving. An NRNA team is reaching the hospital to meet him. Gurung said that necessary assistance would be provided to the injured. Police are investigating the incident.
