Australian Federal Election: Liberal Party claims victory

The Coalition has received unexpected victory in the Federal election.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison expressed the victory as “miracle”. The final result will reveal the number of seats the Coalition will win. Votes are counting and till now Liberal party has secured 74 seats, it requires total 76 seats to win.

While Labor Party has secured 66 votes. It has faced the defeat and its leader Bill Shorten has stepped down from his leadership.

Pramej Shrestha, representing Liberal party from electorate of Barton, NSW, has been defeated in the election.

The election results have gone againts the polls and Liberal Party has succeeded, allowing for third term. The party had promised for stability, economic growth and flat tax policy.
