Missing Nepali youth found dead in Adelaide

A 27 year old Nepali national has been found dead in his garage on Sunday. The youth, a resident of Kathmandu had been reported missing since Thursday, 6th August, 2020. It is learnt the youth had moved to Adelaide from Sydney in 2018.

According to Nabin Panta, coordinator of NRNA South Australia, he is in touch with the deceased’s family members, and the community is working towards repatriating his body back home once police is done with the postmortem.

Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to South Australia Deepak Dhamala is reported to have visited the police station today morning. Police informed him a forensic investigation is underway, after which will be followed by a postmortem examination.

According to MNTV Australia, who spoke with the South Australian Police, the youth’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
