A Sydney taxi driver who tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday has triggered a massive contact tracing operation after NSW Health learnt the taxi driver worked for 10 days while potentially infectious.
The driver worked from September 7 to 10, and September 14 to 18 in several areas in Western Sydney.
His trips during the time include the suburbs of Moorebank, Bankstown, Chipping Norton, Liverpool, Lidcombe, Warwick Farm and Milperra. It has also been learnt that the taxi driver stopped at several places for food during the time.
Below is the list of eateries he stopped at:
- Campbelltown Golf Club in Glen Alpine on September 16 between 2pm and 4.30pm in the TAB area,
- Milton Ulladulla Ex Servos Club on September 12 from 2 to 6.15pm.
- Carlo’s Italian Ristorante Bar and Seafood in Ulladulla on September 12 from 8pm to 9.30pm
- Bannisters Pavilion Rooftop Bar and Grill in Mollymook on September 13 from 12.30pm to 2.15pm.
Anyone who was in the area in and around the time are considered close contacts, and have been requested to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms, and get tested.
NSW Health has also used a variety of measures to trace all passengers who rode with the patient during the above mentioned time:

- September 9: Liverpool TAFE to Moorebank Shopping Centre (08:08-08:15)
- September 10: Liverpool to Graham Avenue, Casula (14:38-14:44)
- September 10: Haddenham Street, Chipping Norton to George Street, Burwood (19:15-19:48)
- September 14: Riverside Road, Chipping Norton to The Mill Hotel, Milperra (15:50-16:04)
- September 15: Riverside Road, Chipping Norton to Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe (08:31-09:11)
- September 15: Milperra to Riverside Road, Chipping Norton (10:14-10:25)
- September 15: Birnie Avenue, Lidcombe to Riverside Road, Chipping Norton (15:22-16:07)
