Sydney dentist found dead in a suitcase, suspected killer dies in a crash

Preethi Reddy, aged 32, was reported missing by family after she failed to return on Sunday from a dental convention at St Leonards.

Police revealed that she went to a fast food restaurant near King Street about 2:15 am on Sunday and left alone.

On Tuesday, March 5, just before 9.30pm her body was found in a suitcase in her car which was located on Strachan Street, Kingsford. “She had been stabbed numerous times”, police revealed.

Further investigation showed that she had stayed in a hotel in Sydney CBD on Sunday with a man known to her.

The man died in a head-on collision on the New England Highway, Willow Tree, about 10pm on Monday (March 4), police reported. The collision is believed to done deliberately by driving on the path of a semi-trailer.

Gaven Dengate, detective superintendent  told, the man had been questioned before his death. He further said that the man was in a previous relationship with Preethi.
