Melbourne, Australia – The first Nepali bar has opened in Melbourne, Australia. ‘Roxy’ Kitchen and Baru has come into operation along Flinders Lane.

Former students of the International School of Tourism and Hotel Management (IST) in Kathmandu have brought this bar into operation. Hemant Pokharel, Sanjeev Shrestha and Virendra Prasad Upadhyay are involved in this. Although there are many Nepalese restaurants, pubs and cafes operating in Australia, there are very few restaurants, pubs and cafes operated by Nepalis, the owner said.

The bar will be open for customers from September 2.
