A woman in Sydney’s south west has died after she was attacked by her own dog yesterday.
Emergency services were called to her home in Hornby Street after the reports of a dog attack at about 1.30pm on 16 May 2019.
Officers found a 72-year-old woman and her 74-year-old husband suffering lacerations and bite marks.
Couple were treated at the scene and were transported to Liverpool Hospital. The condition of the woman deteriorated and she passed away in hospital.
The dog has been seized by Wollondilly Council Rangers.
