Headless body found in suitcase at Gongabu

Police have found a headless body stuffed in an abandoned suitcase at Gongabu of Kathmandu today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipak Thapa of Metropolitan Crime Division said, “The suitcase with the body was recovered some 200 meters away from Gongabu Chowk, near Ganesthan.”

Thapa said that the head and two legs were found packed in a bag some 300 meters away from the suitcase containing the torso.

Locals had called the police at around 6:45 am today after they sensed a foul smell coming from the suitcase.

Police have yet to identify the body and have sent it for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the case is underway while police have not made any arrests as of yet.
