Tech giant Samsung was forced to cancel the launch of the anticipated foldable phone which was supposed to release this Friday. The next generation $3300 Galaxy Fold received reports of screen breakage from tech reviewers.
The company had provided the device to journalists and reviewers before the release. Some of them noticed the half screen was not working and some damaged the device after mistakenly taking off the protective layer. After witnessing the issues, the reviewers posted about the problems in twitter.
After the reports of issues, the company decided to cancel the scheduled release.
The screen on my Galaxy Fold review unit is completely broken and unusable just two days in. Hard to know if this is widespread or not. pic.twitter.com/G0OHj3DQHw
