The second edition of Mr and Miss Teen World Nepal has begun. Organiser Feliz International announced on Tuesday that the application for the competition is open.
The first edition of the competition was held in 2017. The competition, in which young men and women aged between 16 and 21 years can participate, is also an opportunity for those who want to take a career in modeling and acting.
According to the organisers, the competition has been organised with the objective of making good use of the leisure time of the students who have appeared in the SEE and grade 12 exams and boost their self-confidence. Apart from the opportunity to represent Nepal in the Top Model of the Universe to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 10, the top winners of the competition will receive a scholarship of up to Rs. 2 million at The British College along with a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 from the organisers.
Similarly, the first runner-up and second runner-up will receive scholarship worth Rs. 1.5 million and will receive 50 per cent scholarship from The British College.
Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi, actors Salon Basnet, Salin Man Baniya, model Puja Giri and choreographer Rojin Shakya are among the judges of the competition. The audition will be held on July 16 at The British College, Thapathali.
