Good profit from ‘Lakshmi Pooja’: Shobhit Basnet

Due to Covid-19, there has been no activity in the film industry for the past eight months. When the cinema hall was closed, the completed films could not be screened. Producers used to fight to release the film everytime.
This time no film was released in the Dashain due to Corona.
The situation is certain to remain the same in the coming festival.

Producer and director Shovit Basnet has made a good profit even without releasing the film ‘Lakshmi Pooja’ in the hall. The film, shot in Lockdown, was screened at Dish Home in Phoolpati. The film is currently being screened on various digital platforms, including Dish Home.

The movie ‘Lakshmi Pooja’ made under the banner of Salon Salina Films is made on a small budget.
According to Shobhit, Budhasubba had given 3 million mg for the film.
This includes the expenses of director, artist, technician, post production etc.
After Budhasubba releases the film on digital platform and raises Rs 3 million, Shovit will also get half of the profit.
