After finishing Australia Tour, Nepal Idol team arrived yesterday in Melbourne. Before returning to Nepal, the team participated in a meet and greet program in the office of Consulate General of Nepal to Victoria on Monday. The team was honored by Chandra Yonzon, Consulate General and wife, Laxmi Yonzon.
The team expressed their gratitude towards the warm welcome of the audience, organisers and sponsors in Australia.
Speaking at the program, Nepal Idol host and actress Rima Bishwakarma told, “Artists are always in need of love and we received lots of love from Australia. The respect and appreciation we received in Melbourne has added more excitement”.
Yonzon speaking in the program appreciated the artists and emphasized on winning hearts of audience in future with dedication.
The top 6 finalists gave a short performance where Ravi Oad, the winner of Nepal Idol 2 performed on his audition song called “Jaula Relai”.
Likewise, other finalists also voiced that they are expecting the same support and appreciation in the future as well. The supporters were thrilled to meet the artist in the program. The Nepal Idol 2 team will be taking off today from Melbourne.
