The popular music band Nepathya is going to perform in Dubai for the first time after the COVID- 19 pandemic. The band is scheduled to perform for the third time in the Gulf city on November 6, according to a statement issued by nepalaya.

Nepali audience from other emirates, especially Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah attended the previous concerts in large numbers. “This time, we are going to Dubai again with full enthusiasm and vigor to perform at the same venue known as the venue for ice skating and other musical events,” said Amrit Gurung, the band’s lead singer and leader.

Ayush Maan Dangol is happy to know that his beloved band Nepathya is coming to Dubai again. Ayush is a pilot who has been flying Air Arabia plane for more than six years.Ayush had experienced that the moment when Nepathya presents is one of the few opportunities to be proud of being a Nepali in a foreign country.

Nepathya first offered its musical programme in Dubai after the 2015 earthquake. Since it was a pre-scheduled programme, the band was able to attend even during the time of disaster and collected the money received from the Dubai concert to support the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

“Even though it was a moment of sorrow, nearly 2,000 people were present to listen to us,” recalled singer Amrit.Four years later, Nepathya reached Dubai for the second time in March 2019.

This time Nepathya is going to perform in Dubai city as ‘Amrit Events’.

“The news of Nepathya’s coming abroad has added joy during festival,” said Ashish Purush of the organiser Amrit Events. Like previous times, this time too, Nepalis living in Dubai and nearby cities are showing great interest in listening to the Nepathya, he added.

As always, Amrit will be accompanied by Dhurba Lama on the drumset, Suraj Thapa on the keyboard, Subin Shakya on the bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on the guitar and Shanti Rayamajhi on the Madal. Nepathya’s team is preparing to leave for Dubai on November 3 for the event.
