MNTV Hall of Fame II’s ninth episode is scheduled to be broadcasted today. Famed for exploring new areas of entertainment, it usually has something up its sleeve in every episode. Today it is superhit songs by Nepal’s sensation Prem Raja Mahat.
Today’s participants, seven in total, will be singing some popular songs by Prem Raja Mahat.
Jenny Tamang from Melbourne, Australia and Tsewang Sherpa Kathmandu will sing a popular folk song ‘Simsime Pani Ma’.
Supriya Poudel from Lalitpur, Nepal Purna BK from Lalitpur, Nepal, and Dipak Bhotel from Kathmandu, Nepal will sing Banjho Khetma.
Milan Luwagan from Saptari and Rupesh Pokhrel from Jhapa, Nepal will sing Mahat’s Pan ko Paat – one of the most popular Nepali song.
Born in Nepal, and enjoying a successful career in Nepal’s musical industry, Prem Raja Mahat emigrated to the United States in 1996. He currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his family. He owns and operates a restaurant ‘Nepal House Restaurant’, a cosy place whose ambience is filled with his musical memoirs – including casettes and CDs.
