Jury for the sixth ‘Nepal International Film Festival’ (NIFF), which is scheduled to be held from March 16-20, has been finalised.
According to a press statement issued by NIFF on Wednesday, Jeff Monahan of the United States has been nominated as the final jury member for the feature films.
Monahan is an actor, writer and producer.
With the nomination of Jeff Monahan, the jury committee for the feature film category has been completed, read the statement.
Earlier, famous Indian film critic Premendra Mazumder and Nepali actress Priyanka Karki have been nominated for the same category.
Likewise, Prof. Dr. Itami Borjan has been nominated in the jury for the short and documentary films.
She is a renowned film expert and educationist.
She has been teaching ethnographic, documentary, history and theory of world cinema for many years at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
With the nomination of Itami Borjan, the jury for short and documentary films has also been completed, informed the organiser.
Previously, Dean of Beijing Film Academy Prof. Lee Ran and Indra Lal Balami of Maya Academy have been nominated in the jury.
This year, 14 awards will be distributed in seven different categories.
A total of 95 long, short, documentary and animated films have been selected from 35 countries for this year’s NIFF, informed the organiser.
