Almost 70,000 new cases reported in India where more than 55,000 people have died of the coronavirus.

India’s Covid-19 caseload is now nearing the 3-million mark, and the country is now ranked third globally in number of infections. On the other side, fatality rate has been low compared to most other majorly affected countries, and recoveries are on a steady rise
