The Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has informed that as many as 78 non-resident Nepalis have died due to coronavirus and 5,472 have been infected with the disease as of Saturday evening.
Of them, 50 Nepalis died in the United Kingdom alone. Similarly, 15 died in the United States, six in in the United Arab Emirates, and one each in Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Bahrain and Sweden, according to a press release issued by NRNA.
The data compiled by the NRNA shows that at least 2,000 Nepalis have recovered from the disease.
