99 Nepali Workers Leave For Israel Today


The first batch of 99 Nepali workers selected to work as auxiliary workers in the caregiving sector in Israel are leaving today. More than 1000 workers selected for this category are scheduled to leave for Israel in the coming weeks.

The first batch is leaving Kathmandu for Israel today after the completion of all the necessary processes with regard to the selection of auxiliary workers in the caregiving sector.

Meanwhile, the Government of Nepal and the Government of the State of Israel have decided to establish a Joint Working Team to prepare a bilateral agreement for sending Nepali nationals to work in construction sector in Israel, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The decision came after a constructive dialogue between Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka and Ambassador of Israel to Nepal Hanan Goder-Goldberger this afternoon.

“The two sides also expressed satisfaction over the completion of all the necessary processes with regard to the selection of auxiliary workers in the caregiving sector and announce that the first batch of 99 workers in this sector will leave for Israel today. More than 1000 workers selected for this category are scheduled to leave for Israel in the coming weeks,” read the press release of the Israel embassy today.
