Police has arrested Nisa Gurung from Tokha Municipality-6, Kathmandu who was absconding after the order of court of her arrest for a banking crime.
She is a 42 years old who hails from Pokhara Municipality, Kaski and now she is residing in Kathmandu Municipality-13. Gurung is arrested by the police mobilized by the Central Investigation Bureau, Maharajgunj.
She had remained absconded since after the Patan High Court, decision on 26 April 2022 of her 5 days imprisonment and penalty of Rs 2.3 million and 14 thousand and 240.
She was arrested against the crime of check bounce from Kumari Bank Limited of Darbar Marga branch.
The police have presented her in the Kathmandu District Court to implement the court decision.
