Bagmati Province has made 44.61 per cent progress in physical development in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development in the province shared the information that the progress was witnessed in the construction and repair of roads, motorable bridges and suspension bridges.
For the current fiscal year, there are 836 roads for construction and repair combined, 112 for motorable bridges, 15 suspension bridges.
Some of these activities were already in implementation level and some in process, according chief of rural roads at the ministry, Nawin Kumar Singh.
Similarly, the financial progress in the first quarter is 39.61 percent. There is a directorate and eight subordinate bodies to look after the development of physical infrastructures.
