Ruling party vice-chairman Bam Dev Gautam has been sworn in as a member of Nepal’s National Assembly.
On September 14, the Council of Ministers had decided to recommend his name for the 59 member National Assembly. On Thursday, President Bidhya Bhandari had formally endorsed Gautam’s nomination to the upper house of the parliament.
