Dev Raj Joshi, Chief of Sudurpashchim Province, stressed the need for moving ahead by preserving the cultural practices, festival and rituals.
Inaugurating the Bhuwo festival oragnised by Bajureli Service Society at Khula Manch of Dhangadhi on Friday, Province Chief Joshi said that cultures and festivals should be preserved as they were the identity of the province. He further said that the Bajureli Service Society has provided a platform to meet people and inform them about the Bhuwo festival by organising the event.
Highlighting the importance of festivals, he said that celebration of festival helps strengthen communal harmony. Bhuwo festival will be celebrated for three days by performing several dances at the Khulamunch, according to the society.
