Cabinet Expansion Only After Sept 7: Leaders

Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal said there was no chance of cabinet expansion before September 8.
Talking with journalists while assuming office as the parliamentary party leader in Singha Durbar on Thursday, Nepal said no one would utter a word about cabinet expansion till September 8.
Chairman Nepal also said that there was no discussion on the issue despite he had met with CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’ On Thursday morning, Chairman Nepal had a meeting with Prachanda.

He further added that the discussions on cabinet expansion would be held between the ruling coalition parties only in a favourable time.
Nepal also called on the party ranks to join his party.
Mentioning that KP Oli and his people were misleadingly interpreting the 10-point agreement prepared by the unity taskforce of UML, he appealed to the entire party members including provincial assembly members and the people’s representatives not to fall into the trap of the 10-point agreement.

He also said that the rebellion against Oli’s tendency was first declared by holding a national conference on March 17 and 18 this year.
Chairman Nepal also assured that they would establish CPN (Unified Socialist) as a new revolutionary communist force in the coming days.

Reiterating that his party would not unite with the CPN (MC), he warned not to spread a false message that his new party, which was formed on the basis of revolutionary ideology, would merge with CPN (MC).
Meanwhile, parliamentary party leader of CPN (Unified Socialist) in the Upper House Beduram Bhusal also assumed his office on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in Janakpurdham, Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal (JSP-N) Upendra Yadav said that the Cabinet would be expanded only after September 7.

Addressing a press meet organised at Janakpurdham Airport on Thursday, chairman Yadav said, “As the Election Commission (EC) has given a deadline till coming Tuesday for the CPN-UML provincial assembly members and local level representatives willing to switch to NCP (Unified Socialist) to present themselves at the commission, the ruling coalition has agreed to expand the Cabinet after September 7.”
Stating that no society could prosper without democracy in the contemporary times, Yadav said that the nation should move forward by strengthening the federal republic system.

“Now, we will focus on institutionalising achievements made via the implementation of the constitution and will address the needs of our party by means of struggles through parliamentary and non-parliamentary practices,” he said.
Chairman Yadav added that JSP-N in coalition with other parties had prevented the hard-earned democracy and federalism from being destroyed by various forces.
“As various discriminatory practices still exist in our society, we should now focus on ending all forms of discrimination,” he added.
He also assured that there is no internal tussle among the JSP-N lawmakers to switch the party.

Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut, Finance Minister Shailendra Sah, Minister for Social Development Nawal Kishor Sah, Forest Minister Ram Naresh Ray Yadav, Mayor of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Lal Kishor Sah, and other party cadres had welcomed chairman Yadav at Janakpurdham Airport.
