The Central Committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center) has started at the party headquarters at Paris Danda, Kathmandu.
The meeting is held to endorse the standing committee meeting decision to change the first national convention into the eighth general convention of the party and make other necessary decisions, according to party leaders.
The eighth general convention of the CPN (Maoist Center) is slated to commence in the afternoon today.
