Bhagiram Chowdhury, 53 years old from Kailali, has set an example that if you have willpower and patience, you will succeed one day. He has set a moving example of dedication by passing SEE in his 30th attempt. Chaudhary, who failed the exam 29 times, passed this year’s SEE with a GPA of 2.00.
Yamu Sharma, a teacher at the school, informed that he had graduated from Janata Secondary School in Gadaria, Kailari Rural Municipality-6.
Chaudhary’s classmates have since retired from government service. He claims that some of his classmates are now school principals, teachers, or business owners. Although his classmates went on to higher education, it took Chaudhary, who was struggling in SLC, three decades to achieve success.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the results of SEE were announced based on the results sent by schools after internal evaluation for two years. At that time, there was a good opportunity for Chaudhary to pass the SEE if he wanted, said teacher Sharma, “but he did not fill out the form saying that he will write and pass.” Chaudhary also said that he did not fill out the exam form at that time because he was confident that he would pass by writing.
All three of Chaudhary’s children have achieved higher education. His elder son, Ashish, is working as a computer teacher at Janta Secondary School. Similarly, the younger son, Satya Narayan, is preparing for the exam of the Public Service Commission after graduating. Chowdhury said that his daughter Mamta is also working at health insurance registration office.
