China has decided to provide an additional 1.6 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Nepal.
Earlier, China had provided 2 million doses of Vero Cell, the COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by Sinopharm.
Hou Yanqi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, conveyed this message to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba while she paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Deuba, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
