The Hetauda Office of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has achieved 12.87 per cent progress in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2020/21.
Although the regular work of the anti-graft body was affected due to COVID-19 and lockdown imposed towards the beginning of its outbreak, the office here attained good progress and aspires to achieve more goals.
A total of 614 complaints of various corruption and wrongdoings were lodged in the CIAA’s Hetauda office in the past four months.
Among them, 79 cases have been addressed while 535 cases were under consideration.
