CIB team starts probing SEE question paper leak in Saptari

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has started its investigation into the recent incident relating to the leak of question paper of science subject in Saptari district in State No 2.
The question papers of Compulsory Science and Social Studies were made public before the examination had started.
Federal Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel on last Friday had taken the decision to entrust CIB for the investigation into this irregularity.
The four-member team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has already started their probe, according to the Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Saptari, Rajendra Bista.
The Ministry of Education has already instructed the National Examination Board to halt the exam from today until the next notice.
Meanwhile, the District Examination Coordination Committee, Saptari organized a press meet today and claimed that no any question papers were leaked during the ongoing Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
Police had checked all the question papers in all the units once rumour about question paper leak started going the rounds. “The police had found all the question papers intact in its box,” shared Committee’s Coordinator, Surendra Poudel. (RSS)
