The government has decided to close cinema halls, sports venues, gyms, dance bars and clubs and non-essential gathering of more than 25 people in banned.
The COVID-19 Prevention and Control High-Level Coordination Committee, headed by Defense Minister Ishwar Pokhrel, has decided to close these areas till April 30.
The meeting has decided to close schools and colleges till mid-April. It has also been decided to close pre-schools and montessori.
However, it has been decided that the SEE examination, which is scheduled to be held on March 19, will be conducted safely and systematically by setting up a health desk.
The decision about what will happen to Grade 11 and 12, bachelors and masters examination is not mentioned in the decision yet.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in co-ordination with Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has been assigned to monitor these areas.
