Dr. Bikash Devkota, Speaker for the Ministry of Health and Population appeared on Facebook Live for the day’s media briefing. Here are a few updates:

Total no. of tests done in Nepal: 12,906 ( PCR: 6,299 + Rapid Test: 6,607)

Total no. of tests done in Kathmandu: 4,819

No. of tests in Kathmandu in last 24 hours: 387

Tests outside Kathmandu: Dharan, Pokhara, Hetauda, Janakpur, Surkhet, Dhangadi, Dhulikhel, Bharatpur, Bhairawaha (PCR Tests)

Rapid Diagnostic Tests: 6,607

No. of people in isolation: 99

Inside Valley: 12

Outside valley: 87

(On suspicion of coronavirus, tests either yet to be done, or results are awaited)

Contact Tracing: On going
