Dr. Bikash Devkota, Speaker for the Ministry of Health and Population appeared on Facebook Live for the day’s media briefing. Here are a few updates:

Total no. of tests done in Nepal: 158,564 (PCR: 58,277 + RDT: 100,287)

No. of tests in last 24 hours: 5,900

Tests outside Kathmandu: Dharan, Pokhara, Hetauda, Janakpur, Surkhet, Dhangadi, Dhulikhel, Bharatpur, Nepalgunj, Bhairawaha (PCR Tests)

Rapid Diagnostic Tests: 100,287 (RDT Started in every districts)

(Swab samples of individuals who have tested positive in RDT is sent for PCR test )

No. of people in isolation: 699

Inside Valley: 27

Outside valley: 672

(On suspicion of coronavirus, tests either yet to be done, or results are awaited)
