CPN-UML Task Force Meeting Ends On A Positive Note

The meeting of the task force formed to resolve the CPN-UML intra-party rift has ended on a positive note.

Subash Chandra Nembang, coordinator of the task force, said, “We will reach a conclusion by today evening after meeting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal in order to retain the party’s unity.”

He added that Prime Minister Oli and Nepal could also hold talks today if needed. “The meeting of the task force will officially end tomorrow,” said Nembang, adding that he was hopeful that the ongoing disputes within the party would finally end now.

Meanwhile, CPN-UML Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who is also a member of the task force, said that the task force was close to reaching a conclusion. “The meeting of the task force will end tomorrow if everything goes as planned,” he added.
