As many as 12, 217 people have been confirmed with dengue in the last two months across the country.
Since mid-July, five persons have succumbed to the infection, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Dengue has spread to 75 districts so far.
Ten districts are found to have the most dengue cases. The districts include Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Makawanpur, Rupandehi, Dang, Bhaktapur, Dhading, Terhathum, Kavre and Chitwan.
Earlier, in 2019, when dengue got the form of an epidemic, as many as 17,000 were confirmed with the infection while six persons had died from it.
