Discussion underway to ensure voting rights for Nepalis living abroad: Chair Dahal


Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said discussion is underway in order to ensure voting rights for Nepalis living abroad.

Chair Dahal said so while inaugurating the Nepal Festival, 2022, organised at Fukuoka of Japan.

He shared that the knowledge, skill, experience, and capital of Nepalis living abroad could be mobilized in nation building, adding they are effortful for the same.

Saying there is a friendly relationship between Nepal and Japan, Chair Dahal mentioned that Nepali students are studying in Japan for the past 120 years.

Also the former Prime Minister, Dahal thanked the Japanese government for its support in educational and economic development.

Japan as the donor country is very important for Nepal, he expressed the belief that the Japanese government would play a significant role in the further expansion of its cooperation with Nepal.

The CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair opined that his visit would be focused in order taking Nepal-Japan relations to a new height.

He recalled that he has special relations and friendships with former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. Expressing the belief that a stable government would be formed after the federal and province assemblies election, Chair Dahal said a campaign of development and prosperity would be continued.

Chair Dahal has reached Japan today in course of a five-day Japan visit. (RSS)
