Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayan Kaji Shrestha said he has come to the position for performing something new rather than attaining power and money.
At the congratulations and greetings programme organized by Meyarsingh Jauwari Foundation, the newly-appointed DPM Shrestha said he had a thinking to serve the country beyond attaining power and position.
CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Shrestha further said that he had possessed no fixed and non-fixed properties and stock share.
“I have no home and land of my own. I sold out the parental property for managing loan and donated remaining money to the party”, he shared.
Shrestha went on saying, “I have maintained integrity as my relatives and confidants never put pressure on me to work against the law and rule”.
On the occasion, Foundation’s Secretary Manoj Babu Shrestha said leader Shrestha’s role has ever been pivotal in the politics since the Maoists came to the peace process. (RSS)
