CPN (UML) vice-chairman Subash Chandra Nembang has said that each and every problem of the country could be addressed from the constitution. The Constituent Assembly Chairman said that the constitution in Nepal is being well implemented and ruled out the chances of its rupture.
Addressing the ‘Martyrs Memorial Programme’ at UML party headquarters on Saturday, the UML leader claimed that the constitution has answer to all issues. He also argued that the politicians are the ones to bring the nation on right track when the country had languished in crisis in the past.
“This constitution is made by the people for the people. As this was not drafted by Rana nor by the king, there is no risk of its derailment in eight-ten years,” according to Nembang. Saying that the constitution was drafted based on political parties’ understanding, Nembang argued that there was no option but to amend and revise the constitution as per the needs.
UML’s another vice-chairman Yubraj Gyawali voiced to institutionalize the achievements obtained from people’s sacrifices. Now economic and social revolution are left to do in the country though political revolution was over, he said.
Also speaking at the event, UML general secretary Shankar Pokharel said the UML was firm to counter the instability games carried out in the country. (RSS)
