An elderly has died of COVID-19 at the Teaching Hospital at Budhiganga Rural Municipality in Morang district on Tuesday night.
According to Isolation Ward Chief Sunil Dev, the 60-year-old man was confirmed to have contracted the flu-like infection on October 1.
He had been undergoing treatment at isolation facility due to his critical health condition.
The elderly with kidney diseases died in course of treatment, informed Dev.
