Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, fever ridden since the past two days has been admitted to Grande International Hospital, Tokha. He has been placed at the Intensive Care Unit, and doctors are monitoring his health.
The hospital has said it will make PM Oli’s health situation public once the medical reports are in. Meanwhile, PM Oli’s aide has said the check-up is routine and that there is nothing to worry about.
PM Oli, who underwent both kidney transplants in New Delhi over 12 years ago has been under strict medication since. Earlier in August, he travelled to Singapore for a plasmapheresis treatment – a process that filters the blood and removes harmful antibodies.
