Achham: A fire that was made to burn wheat hay in the field has destroyed seven houses in Dhakari rural municipality in Achham.
The fire was spread by wind and caught houses nearby. The fire destroyed houses of Bhakta Bahadur Budha, Indra Budha, Min Bahadur Budha, Jogi Budha, Ruja Budha, Nyanu Budha and Dharma Budha.
The fire killed 60 goats and a pair of oxen, Achham District Police Office confirmed. Rs 160 million worth of property is lost due to the fire based on the preliminary investigation. The fire was taken under control by security personnel and local.
