Morang Police have arrested five teenagers for stabbing a 14-year-old boy to death in Urlabari, Morang. Diyush Shrestha, who went to Mawa River in Urlabari-7 on Sunday night to see the festivities of Chhath, was murdered.
Morang Police Chief SP Shantiraj Koirala informed that the incident took place at around 10:25 pm on Sunday. The police came to know about the incident after the child was taken to the hospital.
Koirala informed that he died around 4:50 am on Monday during treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod, Jhapa. Diyush was injured in the lower part of his left abdomen.
According to Police, the five suspects, who are all under the age of 17, have said they held a grudge from the past and that was the reason behind stabbing Diyush to death.
SP Koirala said that it is strange that the teenagers held such a grudge against a 14-year-old and have informed that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
