FNCCI To Offer Reconciliation Service

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is set to expand its role for reconciliation in the industry and business sector.
The FNCCI plans to expand the services of the reconciliation centre with the establishment of a member service centre, said FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha.

He made this remark at an interaction on reconciliation in the industry and business sector jointly organised by the FNCCI and the Reconciliation Council in Chandragiri.
The reconciliation centre was established in the federation some time ago, he said, adding that procedures are now being prepared to implement it.
On the occasion, senior judge of the Supreme Court Deepak Kumar Karki said that the reconciliation system needs to be adopted and expanded to reduce the cost of entrepreneurs.
The FNCCI can lead it, he said.

Registrar of the Supreme Court Narayan Prasad Panthi said that he would help in the establishment and development of the reconciliation centre. Secretary at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Udaya Raj Sapkota said that the private sector should also play a role in the production of reconciliation experts as there is a lack of experts on reconciliation.
A working paper presenter Bhadrakali Pokharel said that the reconciliation system could be extended to the office level as well.

FNCCI senior vice President Chandra Prasad Dhakal said that a solution can be found from the reconciliation centre as it would take more time to resolve issues.
“In terms of time and cost, we can provide services from the FNCCI’s reconciliation centre,” he said.
