Grade 12 results out; 188,410 students in non-grading


The National Examination Board Examination Controller Office today announced Grade 12 examination results. According to NEB Chairperson, Mahashram Sharma, 4,179 students have got 3.61 to 4 GPA this year from the regular.

Similarly, 30,107 students got a 3.21 to 3.60 GPA, 65,284 students got 2.81 to 3.20, 64,093 students got a 2.40 to 2.80, 10,900 got 2.1 to 2.40 GPA and 35 students got a 1.61 to 2 GPA.

Meanwhile, 188,410 students have been graded NG or non-grading. NG is given to the students who do not even score 35 per cent marks in theory.

As many as 130,878 students can reappear in up to two subjects to up their grades. The exam will be conducted on October 16 and 17.

The grade 12 examination was conducted from May 30 to June 8. As many as 396,185 students appeared in the exam, 363,001 students attended examination for first time, 30,045 for grade increase and 3,132 students appeared in the partial exam.
